Thank you for your email of 4 April 2023 requesting further information relating to the digital 
wallet project. 
 
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) wil  not be able to respond within the specified 
timeframe of the Of icial Information Act 1982 (OIA). We are therefore extending the 
timeframe to respond to your request pursuant to section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA because 
consultation necessary to make a decision on your request is such that a proper response 
cannot reasonably be made within the normal 20 working day time limit. 
 
MPI wil  reply to your request by no later than 1 June 2023, earlier if possible. 
 
Should you have any concerns with this extension, I would encourage you to raise these with
