Wellington City Council Properties 
 
Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings 
Act 1987 (the Act), received on 30 October 2022. You requested the fol owing information: 
•  List of properties owned by Wellington City Council (the Council) and each of its business 
units. 
•  Information that would be of value are Capital Value, Land Value, Earthquake Rating, 
Geo-data/Location, Occupant, Ownership (full or partial). 
 
As per our email correspondence dated 20 November 2022, we agreed to refine your request to not 
include valuation information, on 8 December 2022 the  Council has granted  your  request for 
information for all other information. 
 
Valuation information can be found online using the Council’s maps systems.  Once you open the 
map and search the address a box wil  pop up on the screen with the property details which includes 
the capital value, land value, valuation data. 
 
Please see the attached spreadsheet containing the Councils owned property and each of its 
business units along with the earthquake ratings. 
 
Please note - not al  buildings have been assessed. 
 
Right of review 
If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the Office of the Ombudsman 
to investigate the Council’s decision. Further information is available on the Ombudsman website, 
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz. 
 
Please note, we may proactively release our response to your request with your personal 
information removed.
