Thank you for your email of 18 October 2022, requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the 
Act), the following information: 
1.  I would like to request information on whether there is a queue for Partner of New 
Zealander Work Visa's (onshore). If there is one are you able to please confirm the date it is 
currently at (specific month and date please)?   
2.  What is the current processing rate of this visa per week? 
 
Our Response 
 
1)  As at 21 October 2022, the oldest unallocated onshore Partner of a New Zealand Resident or 
Citizen work visa application was accepted for processing by Immigration New Zealand (INZ) on 2 
August 2022. 
2)  From 23 October to 13 November 2022, the current processing rate for Partner of a New Zealand 
Resident or Citizen work visa applications has averaged 71 decisions per week.
