Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) on 18 October 2022 
for: 
 “Information relating to the participation of a Health New Zealand staff member in last 
week’s New Zealand Institute of Intelligence Professionals Conference. According to the 
conference agenda, head of the Health New Zealand intelligence unit Dave Henderson 
participated in the conference as a speaker. The agenda can be viewed here…I would like 
to request copies of all speech notes, talking points and presentations (e.g. PowerPoint 
slides) prepared for his participation in this conference”. 
Dave Henderson was invited as a health representative to participate in the 2022 New Zealand 
Institute of Intelligence Professionals Conference on a panel to discuss “Setting the conditions 
for innovation in intelligence”. The talking points prepared for Dave Henderson’s participation in 
this conference have been identified within scope of your request and are attached to this letter 
as Appendix 1.
