[FYI request #20391 email]
Tēnā koe Jamie,
I refer to your email dated 29 August 2022, requesting the following under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
“In April-May 2022, Auckland Council carried out an initial period of public
consultation for a proposed intensification plan change. I am writing to request a
copy of the submission you made (if any). It would most likely have been dated early
May, as the consultation period closed on 9th May.”
I can confirm that the Ministry of Transport did not make a submission to Auckland Council’s
public consultation for the proposed intensification plan change held from April to May 2022.
Because of this, your request will be refused under section 18(e) as the information does not
exist.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of this response by the Ombudsman,
in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. The relevant details can be found on the
Ombudsman’s websit
e www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
The Ministry publishes our Official Information Act responses and the information contained
in our reply to you may be published on the Ministry website. Before publishing we will
remove any personal or identifiable information.
Nāku noa, nā
Karen Lyons
Director, Auckland
