The team at the Ministry have advised there are hundreds of documents that relate to your request, which require individual assessment of each document to discern its contents. This would place an unreasonable degree of strain on the team responsible and would interfere with the day-to-day workings of the Ministry. Your request therefore may be refused under section 18(f) of the Act as the information requested cannot be made available without substantial collation or research. If it is possible for you to narrow the scope of your request, could you please specify a topic of interest so that we may be able to provide you with information. Please respond by 22 August 2022 so that we can consider your refinement in our response to your request. Please note, under section 15 of the Official Information Act 1982, any clarification or amendments made to a request within seven days after the date it is received, that request may be treated as a new request and the time limit for the response restarts.
