Dear Richard

Request made under the Official Information Act 1982

Thank you for your email of 3 August 2022 requesting the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):

[…] 15 minutes count data (with Light & Heavy split if available) for stations 01N19424 and
01N29424 covering the SB and NB flows on the AHB. If there are any caveats on the use of this
data please provide this.

[…] details of any closures / restrictions and movable barrier positions and times for the same
period.

On 31 August 2022, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency wrote to you to extend the time available for
us to make a decision on your request. This letter provides you with a response to your request.

The following documents fall within scope of your request and are enclosed:
  Attachment 1: AHB Traffic Data Apr-Jul_HCV split.xlsx.
  Attachment 2: AHB Closure Report Apr-Jul 2022.xlsx
  Attachment 3: MLB Configuration Report Apr-Jul 2022.xlsx

The attached information should be considered in conjunction with the following caveats:
  We have only been able to provide partial heavy commercial vehicles (HCV) data from the
Weigh in Motion (WIM) classifier site due to some remaining issues with the vehicle
classification function in at least one lane in each direction.
  Data provided in attachment 3 has been recorded by NAVMAN devices which sit inside each
of the Barrier Transfer Machines (BTM). We rely on NAVMAN to configure their devices
accurately, so that time readings are consistent regardless of which machine is used.
