Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to Manatū Hauora

Te Kaunihera Rata o Aotearoa (Medical Council of New Zealand) are responsible for 
communications and consent standards for doctors’ interactions with patients and family 
members. They publish guidance on their website such as Managing patient records which 
includes information about the audio or video recording of clinical consultations with patients.
