Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 8 July 2022.  
 
The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) received a partial transfer of your 
request from New Zealand Police for the following:

Government  of  any  other  country  or  any  agency  of  such  a 
Government;  
•  Section  6(c),  to  protect  the  maintenance  of  the  law,  including  the 
prevention, investigation, and detection of offences, and the right to a 
fair trial;  
•  section 9(2)(a), to protect the privacy of individuals;  
•  section  9(2)(g)(i),  to  maintain  the  effective  conduct  of  public  affairs 
through the free and frank expression of opinion; and
