approved by the Director-General for Slaughter since 2016 up til  2022. 
 
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) wil  not be able to respond within the timeframe set 
out in the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) pursuant to section 15A(1)(b) as consultations 
necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot 
reasonably be made within the normal 20 working day time limit. 
 
MPI wil  reply to your request by no later than 18 July 2022, earlier if possible. 
 
Should you have any concerns with this extension, I would encourage you to raise these with

are advised of your right to also raise any concerns with the Office of the Ombudsman.
