The following information is sought about Mangapapa School, 5 Rua Street,

the original retaining wall on the Mangapapa School bank bordering Mangapapa

What are the ongoing maintenance costs for the retaining wall on the Mangapapa
School bank bordering Mangapapa Stream?

How many geotec surveys were undertaken on the grounds of Mangapapa
School for number 2 and number 5 Rua Street in 2020 and 2021 and what were
the results of each survey?

How many geotec surveys were undertaken on the grounds of Mangapapa
School for number 2 and number 5 Rua Street in 2020 and 2021 and what were
the costs of each survey?

Are plans in place to build a new retaining wall along the Mangapapa School
bank bordering Mangapapa Stream and if so, what wil it cost?

Is reinforcing work planned on the existing retaining wall along the Mangapapa
School bank bordering Mangapapa Stream and if so, what wil it cost?

Is the Mangapapa School Hall at risk of slipping into Mangapapa Stream?
Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).
We have made enquiries with the relevant Business Units and have determined that the
information you have requested for question three is not held by the Ministry and is more
closely connected with the functions of Mangapapa School

Question three: What are the ongoing maintenance costs for the retaining wall on the
Mangapapa School bank bordering Mangapapa Stream?
I have therefore transferred this part of your request to Mangapapa School in accordance
with sections 14(b)(i) & 14(b)(ii) of the Act.
You may expect a response from Mangapapa School directly concerning question three of
your request. The Ministry wil provide the rest of the response by 27 May 2022.
