Thank you for your email which we received on 20 April 2020 in which you requested

The specific details of your request and our response is below.

Development Plan.

Please find attached:
•  Notes from Planning Committee NPS UD workshops September 2020 to March 2022
•  Notes from confidential local boards NPS UD briefing 4 March 2022

Please note there were no notes taken from local board workshop briefings in October and
November 2021. The purpose of these sessions was to provide initial briefing and
background to the NPS UD to local board members. Questions for clarification were asked
and answered but these were not recorded.

Local board members were invited to two optional briefings on the National Policy Statement
– Urban Development. These were both held on 4 March. In the first briefing was staff from
the Planning team provided an overview of the project.  Immediately fol owing this briefing,
board members were invited to separate concurrent online sessions, one for each local
board (except Aotea-Great Barrier). The second sessions were for planners to provide
insights into potential changes in local areas.

As these briefings were confidential, they were not recorded nor had minutes taken.
Approximately 58 local board members and 80 staff attended the first briefing. We do not
have attendance records for the second session.
