On  11  April  2022,  you  emailed  the  Ministry  of  Social  Development  (the 
Ministry)  requesting,  under  the  Official  Information  Act  1982  (the  Act),  the 
following information: 
•  How  to  access  employment  at  Ministry  of  Social  development,  Work 
and Income in the Waikato region. In particular, Hamilton branches if 
possible? 
You  can  find  all  current  vacancies  available  at  the  Ministry  listed  on  our 
website at the following link: https://jobs.msd.govt.nz.   
You can refine your search using the location search bar or by navigating the 
map  on  the  landing  page.  Additionally,  you  can  also  refine  your  search  by 
selecting a specific job category. The option to search the Ministry’s jobs by 
category can also be found here: https://jobs.msd.govt.nz/viewalljobs. 
The  Ministry’s  current  job  listings  change  regularly,  so  you  might  find  it 
helpful  to  set  up  an  email  alert  for  vacancies  matching  your  search.  To  do 
this, create a search for jobs in the Waikato or Hamilton areas and select the 
‘create  alert’  button.  You  are  also  able  to  specify  how  often  you  wish  to 
receive alerts. This will prompt you to join the Ministry’s Talent Community.
