Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act (“OIA”) dated Thursday 7 April 2022. 
 
You have requested: 
information as to how the $40,000 awarded to Noise Control Entertainment Ltd; December 2020, 
on behalf of Jason Kerrison Music Projects was utilised? 
 
Please see below for a summary of the project provided by the producer. This was submitted as part of 
our Staff Investment Committee funding meeting papers. That committee approved the funding.  The 
following redactions have been made: 
•  section 9(2)(a) of the OIA to protect the privacy of natural persons 
•  section 9(2)(b) of the OIA to protect information where the making available of the information— 
•  (i) would disclose a trade secret; or 
•  (i ) would be likely unreasonably to prejudice the commercial position of the person who 
supplied or who is the subject of the information. 
 
“This application seeks support for Jason’s third solo project, a full-length to be titled HOME IN ME. The 
album wil  be produced and engineered by 9(2)(a)
. Conceptually experimental the 
album will have a sci-fi theme complete with Virtual Reality experience content for each song which wil  
be produced by 9(2)(a)
. The applicant has sought support from 9(2)(b)  
 for some of these elements of the project.” 
 
To date one finished single from the Project has been released publicly – The Timing – released on all 
digital platforms on 8 June 2021.
