Dear Amber
Official Information Act request:
Further to your letter dated 14 March 2022 made under the Official Information Act 1982, and
our response dated 11 April 2022. We transferred some of your original request to Auckland
University and although they have responded to you directly they have transferred one
question back to Waikato DHB for response.
Specifically, you requested:
With regards to general medicine and paediatrics departments.
1) What is the list if senior medical officers designated to be clinical supervisors for
medical students from the university if Auckland (i.e. who are the SMOs who can sign
CSRs)
This question was transferred to Auckland University in accordance with s14 of the Official
Information Act. We understand that they have supplied you with a list of SMO’s designated
to be clinical supervisors.
2) From above, what is the FTE of each SMO, and number of hours expected on- site.
Using the information sent to us from the University of Auckland we can now respond to this
question.- The table below shows FTE for the SMO’s designated to be clinical supervisors as
outlined by University of Auckland.-
General Medicine
Paediatrics
1.0 FTE = 13
1.0 FTE = 4
0.9 FTE = 1
0.8 FTE = 1
0.8 FTE = 1
