1982 (the Act):

Regarding the 12 social media posts which you linked to in your request, on 26 January 2022, Waka
Kotahi emailed you to confirm that we will address links 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and link 12 in-part with LINZ. I
understand that LINZ has responded to you in relation to links 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, and 12 on 1

) which relates to perjury and fraud complaints laid
with the NZ Police on 18 October 2021, I am withholding all information that falls within the scope of
this request under section 6(c) of the Act because the making available of that information would be
likely to prejudice the maintenance of the law, including the prevention, investigation, and detection of
of fences, and the right to a fair trial.

I am ref using the rest of your request in relation to links 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 under section 18(e) of the
Act because the documents alleged to contain the information requested do not exist.

With respect to the information that has been withheld, I do not consider there are any other factors
which would render it desirable, in the public interest, to make the information available.

Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to
withhold this information. The contact details for the Ombudsman can be located at
