Re: Regional Park Expenditures: Waitakere and Hunua Ranges 
 
 
Thank you for your email of 19 January 2022 for costs relating to the Waitakere and Hunua 
Ranges.  Your specific request and our response are set out below. 
 
I would like to request the total expenditures, including capital works for the two regional 
parks named for the period June 1, 2016, to May 31, 2021 (five years), broken up into yearly 
totals 
 
The Regional Parks department  are responsible for the delivery of the protection, 
management, and enhancement of natural landscapes for the twenty-eight Regional Parks of 
Tāmaki Makaurau. 
 
The below tables show the total operational and capital expenditure by the Regional Parks 
unit for the Hunua and Waitakere Ranges.
