EXTENSION LETTER - Official Information Act request – Highest 10 vaccinations performed

I refer to your Official Information Act request received dated 13 December 2021 requesting the following 
information: 
 
1.  The highest ten individual clinic/locations of COVID-19 vaccinations performed on an individual 
day  at  an  individual  clinic/locations  in  the  Northern  Region.  Please  provide  the  date, 
location/clinic, and vaccinations performed. The same clinic/location may therefore occur more 
than once in the list. 
 
Response 
We are unable to provide a response within the normal timeframes due to our response to COVID-19, as 
our  clinicians,  managers  and  staff  are  concentrating  on  measures  to  manage  the  current  COVID-19  Delta 
outbreak in the region. 
 
Given  these  circumstances  you  will,  therefore,  understand  that  we  do  not  currently  have  the  capacity  to 
respond with our normal timeliness to OIA requests and, depending on how the outbreak spreads, we may 
not have the capacity for some time to come. 
 
Also, please note that the OIA system is on hold nationally between 24 December 2021 and 17 January 
2022. 
 
It is therefore necessary to extend the time required to make a decision on your request for information in 
accordance  with  section  15A  of  the  Official  Information  Act.  This  is  because  the  information  cannot 
reasonably  be  identified,  collated  or  reviewed  by  the  necessary  people  within  20  working  days  without 
unreasonably interfering with our operations.  
 
We are therefore writing to notify you that we require an extension of the time and will be able to supply 
the information you requested by Friday 4 February 2022.
