I refer to your email dated 24 December 2021 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act from Canterbury DHB.  Your request being a follow-up to our previous response to OIA 
CDHB 10766.

What the payment was for

A break down of that payment 
• 
Invoices from SVA 
• 
All emails from SVA about funding, payment and their assistance with the vaccine roll out. 
What the DHB was hoping would be achieved by paying SVA. Was a tender put out for the 
services provided by SVA. Any other documents CDHB holds in relation to this payment(s). 
 
Consultations which are necessary to make a final decision on the request means that a proper response 
to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.  
 
The  Canterbury  DHB  therefore  requires  further time  prior  to  issuing  our  response.    The  period of  the 
extension is until 28 February 2022.  We will endeavour to get our response to you before that date.   
 
We are permitted to make this extension under Section 15A of the Official Information Act 1982 and you 
have the right to complain to the Ombudsman about our decision to extend the time for responding.
