I refer to your request received on 19 October 2021, which has been considered under 
the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), for the following information: 
 
Please supply any and all information regarding funding for 'Narrative Muse', 
supplied to you by the Ministry for Culture and Heritage, and details of any 
contact by the Minister and/or her staff with Teresa Bass and Bough [sic] 
Johnson, the founders of the site. 
 
There has been no contact between me or my staff and Teresa Bass or Brough 
Johnson.  
 
I have received one aide memoire regarding funding for Narrative Muse from the 
Ministry for Culture and Heritage (attached). I have decided to release the aide 
memoire, subject to some information being withheld under section 9(2)(a) – to 
protect the privacy of natural persons.  
 
You  have  the  right  to  seek  an  investigation  and  review  by  the  Ombudsman  of  this 
decision.  Information  about  how  to  make  a  complaint  is  available  at
