Local Government Official Information & Meetings Act 1987 Request:  
We refer to your email of 16 August 2021, which includes requests for information 
under the Local Government Official Information & Meetings Act 1987 in relation to 
the Raymond Street Trees.  Your particular requests and responses are set out below: 
Your request: Recently the TDC under took some repair work to properties in Raymond 
Street that were damaged by Council Trees that were planted on the berms along the 
street. Can you please provide me with the details of the cost to remediate this.   
Our response: The cost for root damage repairs on private properties total was 
$11,641.15. 
Your request: Also recently (in the last 6 weeks) there were more trees planted in the 
street. Can you also provide the costs for the undertaking of this work. 
Our response: The cost of the trees was $1,475.00. 
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to
