Total number of Parking Infringements issued and the associated revenue col ected.
For the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021 572,031 infringements were issued. The revenue
generated was $21,502,534. Please note that this is not the actual income received by Auckland
Transport.
List of the top 10 Parking Wardens in terms of infringements and revenue issued in the past year.
We do not require names to protect them from harassment. Only their badge number, total
number of tickets he/she issued and the associated revenue earned, and total number of illegally
parked vehicles towed (if applicable). Please include their tenure.
Auckland Transport refuses your request under Sections 7(1), 7(2)(a) and 7(2)(f)(ii) of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA). Withholding this information is
outweighed by other considerations which render it desirable, in the public interest, to make that
information available, it is necessary to protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of
deceased natural persons and to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the
protection of members, officers or employees of a local authority from improper pressure or
harassment.
