We are grateful to the community  
leaders and people of Henderson who 
gave us over 500 pieces of feedback at 
our pop up shop co-design sessions, the 
Henderson Christmas Festival, and the 
Te Puna market.

The intersection surface artwork was created by  
- Around 15 days to instal
west Auckland artist Jermaine Reihana.
It uses a contemporary interpretation of Tāniko,  
Asking the community for feedback 
Whāriki and Tukutuku (weaving patterns), to highlight  
(12 April - 30 June 2021) 
the significance of Henderson as a place where both

The project takes a co-design approach which means

well they work. We will be collecting feedback based on  
the community’s experience so we can tweak changes
