Extension of request for official information 
Thank you for your email, dated 24 September 2021, to the Border Executive Board seeking the 
following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).  
• Copies of the minutes of all BEB meetings since 19 July 2021
• Copies of all reports produced by BEB and supplied to the Minister for the COVID-19
Response since July 2021
We are in the process of preparing the information for release which includes consultation with 
the  Border  Executive Board  member  agencies. However, due to the necessity for further 
consultation and review, I wish to advise that we have needed to extend the time frame for a 
response, pursuant to section 15A(1)(b) of the Act, by an additional 10 working days (counted 
from 22 October 2021, which was the statutory date a response was initially due). 
The new due date for your request is 8 November 2021. However, we wil  provide a response to 
you as soon as reasonably practicable.  
You have the right, by way of complaint to the Of ice of the Ombudsman under section 28(3) of 
the Act, to seek an investigation and review of the decision conveyed in this letter.
