LGOIMA REQUEST RE COUNCIL PRAYER 
I  refer  to  your  email  dated  18  April  2012  requesting,  under  the  Local  Government  Official 
Information and Meetings Act, information relating to an opening prayer at this Council. 
The Otorohanga District Council has, for approximately 15 years, said an opening prayer at the 
start of each Council meeting.  Please find attached a copy of this prayer which was put together 
by  the  Combined  Churches  of  Otorohanga.    There  has  been  no  discussion  on  the  subject  of 
abolishing the prayer.
