Thank you for your email of 18 February 2021, requesting the fol owing information under the 
Official Information Act 1982 (the OIA): 
How many Resident Visas approved to the Retail Managers who are working in a Franchise 
Retail Store in the year 2020 who applied under Skil ed Migrant Category of Retail Manager 
(142111). 
 
Thank you for narrowing the scope of your request on 9 March 2021 to Super Liquor Franchise 
Stores as follows: 
 
 
How many Resident Visas approved in the year 2020 to the Retail Managers who are 
working in a Super Liquor Franchise Store who applied under Skil ed Migrant Category of 
Retail Manager (142111). 
 
I am writing to advise you that the Ministry will provide a response but needs to extend the time 
available to answer your request.  The Ministry’s response will be with you no later than 2 April 2021.   
 
The reason for the extension relies on section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA – consultations necessary to make 
a decision on the request are such that a proper response to the request cannot be made within the 
original time limit. We wil  respond to your request sooner if we are able.  
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of our decision to extend the time limit by the
