Thank you for your email of 16 December 2020 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and 
Employment (the Ministry) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the

“On 9/11/2020 Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said officials are set to visit the Cook Islands on 
November 14 for face-to-face talks, with the goal of confirming a safe travel bubble. 
 
1.  On what date was each face to face talk in the Cook Islands. 
2.  On what date did each individual return to New Zealand and start their mandatory MIQ” 
 
This letter is to advise you that Part 1 your request has been transferred to the Ministry of 
Foreign Affairs and Trade under section 14(b)(ii) of the Act as the information requested is more 
closely aligned with the functions of their office. They will respond to your request in due course.   
 
Please note that the Ministry will respond to Part 2 of your request.
