Response to your request for official information Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) on 6 December
2020 for:
“What’s the Cycle Threshold (CT) value used to perform the PCR test for COVID19; what
changes by date have been made to the (Cycle Threshold (CT)) value per lab for this test

The Ministry of Health believes the information you have requested is more closely aligned with
the functions of the Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR). For this reason, I
