[FYI request #14010 email]
Tēnā koe Robert
Thank you for your email of 21 October 2020 to the Ministry of Education requesting the
following information:
•
How many graduates have each of the individual training authorities (mainly
universities and private professional organisations) in the discipline of
psychotherapy produced in each of the last four years?
Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).
We have made enquiries with the relevant Business Units and they have advised that the
Ministry only holds graduate information on a single psychotherapy course. We have therefore
made enquires with the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) as we believe the information
you have requested is more closely connected to their agency. They have advised they would
accept this request as a transfer. I have therefore transferred your request to TEC in
accordance with 14(b)(ii) of the Act.
You may expect a response from TEC directly concerning your request.
Thank you again for your email. You have the right to ask an Ombudsman to review this
decision. You can do this by writing to
[email address] or Office of the
Ombudsman, PO Box 10152, Wellington 6143.
