Partial transfer of request for official information to the Ministry of Business, Innovation
and Employment
Thank you for your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act),
received on 10 August 2020 for:
“Please provide copies of all advice and memoranda (in whatever form) dealing with
policy arguments for and against (a) the use of "managed isolation" and (b) charging
users for their stay in "managed isolation".”
The Ministry of Health (the Ministry) believes the information you have requested is also closely
connected with the functions of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).
As a result, I have decided to partially transfer your request to MBIE under section 14 of the Act.
You can expect a response from MBIE in due course.
The Ministry will response separately to your request. You can expect a response from the
Ministry in due course.
You have the right, under section 28 of the Act to ask the Ombudsman to review
