Official Information Act request relating to TV and  radio ads for "Unite  against  Covid-
19" and "Unite for the Recovery" and costings for these ads 
In regard to your Official Information  Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 14 June 2020,  in 
which you requested: 
"Please provide a copy of all TV and Radio ads generated by Government as part of 
the "Unite against Covid-19" and "Unite for the Recovery" campaigns. I understand 
some of these were available at one point on the covid19.govt.nz  website,  however 
they are not available anymore.  Please also provide the costings for these ads to be 
generated,  and the amount spent by government for these ads to be played on  TV 
and Radio." 
We  have  been  contacted  by  the  Ombudsman's  Office  in  regard  to  your  concerns  over  the 
refusal of TV and Radio ads under section 18(f)  of the Act,  as  the scope  we had interpreted 
was broader than what had originally been set out in your request. 
Upon  review,  we  have  determined  that  the  requested  information  can  be  supplied  to  you 
without substantial collation. We apologise for this error.
