Thank you for your email of 3 June 2020 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
(the  Ministry)  requesting,  under  the  Official  Information  Act  1982  (the  Act),  the  following 
information: 
 
The current board vacancies seems all expired and the webpage is not activity up to date. 
May I kindly request, your org chart for people in relation to this board nomination service 
team. Also, I would like to know what is your internal protocol for managing and releasing 
vacancy on this web page. Are there any dedicate people mange this web page to ensure 
it's correctness?  
 
The web page said "Last updated: 03 March 2020" are there any more vacancy that is not 
showing on this page since last update?  
 
I  understand  the  COVID19  may  have  some  impact,  but  I  understand  people  are  still 
working from home and this page has not been properly look after for 3 months. 
 
Please  find  attached  a  copy  of  the  organisation  chart  for  the  Appointments  and  Governance 
Team  which  is  the  team  that  manages  most  board  appointments  for  the  Ministry.  Some 
information  in  this  chart  has  been  withheld  under  section  9(2)(a)  of  the  Act  to  protect  the 
privacy  of  natural  persons.  I  do  not  consider  that  the  withholding  of  this  information  is 
outweighed by public interest considerations in making the information available. 
 
In response to the questions you have raised regarding the internal protocol for managing and 
releasing vanacies on the Ministry’s web page, the web page is updated on an as required basis. 
Most but not all vacancies may be advertised on the web page as well as the Ministry’s website. 
Reappointments to boards are not advertised. There are no new vacancies at this time, the web 
page has recently been updated to reflect this.
