Transfer of request for information to the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet 
(DPMC)

the Ministry of Health (the Ministry) for: 
 
“I would like to request the audio file for the alert tone that plays at the beginning and at the 
end of the COVID-19 announcements on TV and on the web.” 
 
The Ministry does not hold the information pertaining to your request. However, I have been 
advised that the information you have requested is more aligned with the functions of DPMC.  
 
As a result, I have decided to transfer your request to DPMC in accordance with section 14 of 
the Act. You can expect a response from DPMC in due course.
