We do not intend using any official police uniforms or memorabilia or the Museum’s police
car lights in this season of Westside.
The series is fictional, set in the early 80s, and while we have some fictional police
characters, they’ll either be dressed in plain clothes or in made-up versions of uniforms, not
replicas of official police originals from the era or the current day.

As far as I know we’ve not been approached with scripts or applications for approval
to use NZ Police uniforms or signage for Westside. It would be helpful if someone
from your production team could please send us through a synopsis of Westside
Season 2, if it includes police officers, the relevant scenes and dialogue so that we
can assess our involvement.
