about individuals serving less than three years’ imprisonment, as at 30
November 2019. Your request has been considered under the Official
Information Act 1982 (OIA).
You have requested:
a breakdown of the 1,985 prisoners by their number of convictions,
specifically how many are in each of the following categories:

10 or fewer convictions
2.
11 to 25 convictions
3.
26 to 50 convictions
4.
50 to 75 convictions
5.
76 to 100 convictions
6.
(6) 101 - 200 convictions
7.
more than 200 convictions

As noted in my letter to you dated 14 April 2020, the average number
of convictions for this group is 30, not 50 as previously advised.
