Thanks very much for your time today to review the draft data improvements plans for Suburbs.
The proposed data improvements have been updated following our discussion, see attached.
Our next step is to send this information out to the reviewers to
ACT
a. Confirm that the items we have recorded as “acceptable” for resilience is correct eg level
of accuracy
b. Check whether there are any potential improvements we have missed
c. Request a user story to demonstrate the benefit of the proposed improvements which
are not planned
· Remove lakes from suburb boundaries, and maintain lakes as a separate dataset.
I’ll send you the draft communication for improvement plan reviewers before it goes out, but in
UNDER
the meantime if this raises any issues for you and your team please let me know.
In addition, as we discussed, I have created a reminder to draft a letter to FENZ CEO in the new
year. As agreed, this letter is to confirm the importance of this dataset to resilience related work
in New Zealand.
