Dear Marlborough District Council,

The Marlborough District Council controls discharges of contaminants from fuel-burning equipment under its E-Plan. Most zones allow small-scale combustion (<5MW for natural gas or 40kW for other fuels) as a permitted activity subject to conditions, requiring no resource consent. Some zones allow larger-scale combustion (<50MW for gas or 10MW for other fuels) as a controlled activity, meaning a resource consent is automatically granted if conditions are met. Combustion outside these rules is discretionary and requires a consent. I would like to request the following information under the LGOIMA:

* a list of all the resource consents in force for discharges from fuel-burning equipment under the E-Plan. For each consent I would like the date of issue, date of expiry, the fuel source for the combustion, and the power in kW or MW (if known) or maximum combustion rate (e.g. in tonnes per hour, if known).
