Official Information Act #18.224 - ZX Security
1.
We refer to your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request received on 26 June
2019 for information about whether the Commerce Commission (Commission) has
ever employed ZX Security Limited (ZX Security) to provide training in social media or
open source intelligence and if so, a copy of all information relating to, or provided
by, ZX Security in relation to the training.

We have decided to grant your request.
3.
The Commission has not employed ZX Security to provide training in social media or
open source intelligence, or any other topic.
4.
Four Commission staff were invited to attend one of three ZX Security open source
intelligence training sessions held in 2014 and 2015, but we have no record of staff
from the Commission attending any of the sessions.
5.
The Commission will be publishing this response to your request on its website. Your
personal details will be redacted from the published response.
