I refer to your request under the Official Information Act (OIA) for information concerning water samples testing positive for 1080 poison that was posted on the FYI website on 20 June.

Our Toxicology Laboratory's reports of test results are confidential to the client requesting the tests therefore we are unable to release detailed information as it would prejudice the interests protected by section 9(2)(ba) of the OIA. We have therefore decided to release the information to you in the form of the attached summary of results of water monitoring programmes following 1080 aerial baiting operations.
