Thank you for your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the 
Ministry of Health on 26 March 2019 for: 
"Please advise how many cases of brain related injuries (such as memory loss) 
have been attributed to medications such as Gabapentin,  Pregablin, Amitriptyline 
and/or Nortriptyline since 2010" 
The New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority (Medsafe) publishes 
information regarding reactions to medications, including any side effects,  online here:

Your request is therefore refused under section 18(d) of the Act, as the information requested is
