Hi Kareena,

I got your email address from your receptions by phone this morning. I understand Amber is
away from the office at UHCC this week.

Are you able to assist with this matter. I have a Water Bottling Facility to gradually plan for here
at Refreshment Place and suspect some level of Food Registration and Licensing is required.

Hi Amber,

Per attached and below, on behalf of International Springs Ltd, I need to arrange to register as a
‘Food Operation’ with the Upper Hutt City Council.
Stuart Grant has kindly provided your details.

Where do we go from here? I expect there are some forms for me to complete, can you please
send through.

Further to my text yesterday, there is an 0800 number to call to confirm the operation’s
category. It is 0800 69 37 21 (Food Safety Helpline). I can’t find an international direct dial
number for this, sorry.

The contact here to complete the registration process is Amber Pacheco. I have copied her in
above. She will be able to help from here.

If you are looking to develop here in Upper Hutt in such a way as to create ongoing local
employment opportunity or add value to the local economy, we have incentive policies in place
for which the operation may be eligible to apply, depending on the scale and scope of the
development.

Thank you
Stu

Hi Stuart,
Thank you for responding and I have completed an initial Scope of Operations for NP3 business,
attached.

If I interpret the reference information on the MPI website correctly I now need to register or
lodge an application to be registered as a Food Operation with the local council, which would be
the Upper Hutt City Council. If you could advise who I should liaise with directly to firstly get an
application form from and then submit it back to it would be appreciated.

Initially, at this stage International Springs is looking to extract water under its consent and ship
in bulk for bottling. Of course at some point we will be looking to have in place out own bottling
facility here at Refreshment Place.

Thank you for your assistance to date.
