Dear Minister of Conservation,
On 17 October 2012, Stuff reported that the Department of
COnservation was refusing to participate in the judicial review of
the Horizons Regional Council's One Plan. The decision had been
made by the Minister "on advice from the Department of
Conservation" ("Fish & Game gets hooks into minister", Stuff, 17
October 2012). I would like to request the following information
under the OIA:
* all advice from DoC to the Minister on whether to participate in
the case;
* any advice of communications from other Departments of Ministers
on whether to participate in the case
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about
this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the
fyi.org.nz website.
With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.
